Kelly Blackwood: President & CEO
Prior to Browning, Kelly was the Engineering Manager for Headington Energy Partners in McKinney, Tx, where he oversaw key engineering, operational and geologic staff members.  He has also worked for Matador Resources and Encana Oil & Gas in Dallas, obtaining experience in the Permian Basin, Mid-Continent, Rockies and South Texas unconventional and conventional assets in operations and reservoir engineering roles.  Kelly has been awarded SPE Young Engineer of the Year, TSPE Young Engineer of the Year and most recently noted as one of D CEO’s “Rising Stars of Oil and Gas”.  Kelly earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Tom Howell: Vice President of Finance
Mr. Howell has worked for Browning since 1982.

Steven McWilliams: Vice President of Business Development/Geology
Mr. McWilliams joined Browning Oil Company in January 2017.  Previously, he worked as VP Geosciences for Sydri Energy, a privately help Exploration Company, where he managed geologic operations in South Texas, East Texas, Permian Basin, and Peru. During his time at Sydri, Mr. McWilliams was also responsible for A&D efforts across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico which eventually led to acquiring W&T Offshore’s Midland Basin asset which later sold to Diamondback Energy.  Mr. McWilliams began his career as a geologist in 2007 with Exco Resources working primarily West Texas, East Texas and North Louisiana assets, both conventional and unconventional. He holds a B.S. in Geosciences from Southern Methodist University.

Dominick Cassetta: Chief Geophysicist
Mr. Cassetta has worked in a variety of technical and managerial positions on domestic and international exploration, development, and A&D projects in mature, emerging, and frontier oil provinces.  He received his BA and MS in Geology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston.

Brit Morris: Operations Manager
Mr. Morris previously spent 10 years with various companies, obtaining field and operations experience in the Permian Basin, Mid-Con, Eagleford and Williston Basin.   He oversees the company’s field operations.  Brit has been with the company since 2018 and has a degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Daniel McWilliams: Vice President of Land
Mr. McWilliams has worked for Browning since 2011.   He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Dallas Association of Professional Landmen.  Mr. McWilliams attended the University of North Texas.
